What Causes Fluctuating High Blood Pressure?

I monitor my blood pressure at home...it has been very good Today 126 over 70. then later today in the dr. office it is 164/90... he thinks my machine at home is not working and want me to bring it to my next appointment.

Blood pressure readings can vary from machine to machine and observer to observer..
It's a good idea to take the machine to your doctor and let him check it..
Blood pressure can vary depending on time of the day also..
