What Causes Fluctuating Blood Pressure Levels?

My daughter has fibromyalgia and her blood pressure fluctuates between 122/84 and 155/105. She takes Lyrica and nortryptiline and I understand these may cause her blood pressure to rise. Should I be concerned? Is there anything she can do to keep it lower? Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Apart from medications, I would like to suggest best working remedies to keep her BP controlled.
• Salt restricted diet
• Plenty of liquids to maintain her hydration
• Regular walking in fresh air, regular light exercises at home
Yoga and meditations for 40 to 50 minutes daily without failure
• Avoid stress, anxiety, smoking, alcohol, if using
• Regular sound sleep of 7 to 8 hours
• Engage her more in her likelihood activities

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
