Hello
As you mentioned that you are gay and having sexual relations and got sick .
Symptoms are ( were )
sore throat, fever ( flu like according to query ), bumps on penis .
Approximately 50-70 % HIV infected individuals experience
acute HIV syndrome and have following symptoms :
Fever,
pharyngitis, lymphadenopaty, headache/retro-orbital pain , arthralgias/myalgias, lethargy/
malaise, anorexia/
weight loss, nausea/vomiting/
diarrhea.
Others are;erythematous maculopapular rashes, mucocutaneous ulceration .
As most of these symptoms , you are having ( as you mentioned in your query ).
There is also bumps on penis with rashes .
Anal intercourse is the most common mode of transmission of HIV infection because, there is a strong association of transmission of HIV with receptive anal intercourse , probably because only a thin , fragile rectal mucosal membrane separates the deposited semen from potentially susceptible cells in and beneath the mucosa and trauma may be associated with anal intercourse.
Since you are gay so anal douching and sexual practices that traumatize the rectal mucosa also increase the likelihood of infection.
As I mentioned earlier , you are having most of these symptoms simulating HIV infection ,so get in ELISA & nucleic acid amplification ( Western blot ) for HIV confirmation.
I also recommend get in VDRL test for STD confirmation.
Consult a dermatologist and get his opinion at earliest.
