What Causes Flatulence, Foul Nasal Odor And Dryness In The Nasal Passage?
Hello, I ve been experiencing a bad gas rotten egg order from my nose. My nose is dry I hardly have boogers ( mucus) in my nose. It s not circulating like it s supposed to. The more I think about it and get nervous the smell comes out like my brain controls it. Please any suggestions?
** 1. Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your case history following is/are recommended guidelines:
i. probably you are suffering from 'atrophic rhinits' where the crusts form inside the nose and smell bad [due to loss of turbinate tissues] ii. exposure to environmental pollutants or having history of asthma are contributory risk factors for the same. iii. Consult an E.N.T. Doctor who may advice a CT scan to confirm the diagnosis and to check for changes in the nasal cavities, or a nasal endoscopy to rule out sinusitis. iv. till then use saline nasal solution instead of decongestants. [i.e. daily irrigation of nasal passage is best preventive aspect] which can help prevent formation of crust and keeping the nasal lining moist
