What Causes Flaky Patch On Shaft Of Penis?

I woke up one day to my penis having a dry spot on it, I didn t realize it @ first, so when I went to go masturbate, it cracked in multiple spots on the right ride of my penis... I am uncircumcised, and I just notice it when I masturbate... I have never gotten it from being sexually active, I did get tests done yesterday for STDS/HIV but I need to know how to take care of it, because whenever I go to urinate, the cut burns and I go to dry it off, it gets better but the pain doesn t go away... And it prevents me from sleeping comfortably

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. If you send a close picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. For such condition I would suggest using anti fungal ointments like miconazole or terbinafine for local application. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area. Instead you can use saline or warm water for this.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
