What Causes Fibromyalgia Along With Chronic Fatigue And Migraine?

I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA, CHRONIC FATIGUE, AND CURRENTLY FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FROM A NUMBER OF NEW SYMPTOMS WHICH ARE PLAGUING ME RELENTLESSLY. I AWAKEN EACH MORNING WITH SEVERE NAUSEA, CONGESTION, MIGRAINES, METALLIC TASTE IN MY MOUTH, I AM URINATING EXCESSIVELY I HAVE AN UNQUENCHABLE THIRST ... FRANKLY, I AM NOT SLEEPING RESTFULLY AND YET I WANT TO SLEEP ALL THE TIME. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DOCTOR TWICE. THEY TELL ME TO PICK 3 SYMPTOMS RATHER THAN GIVING THEM A LONG LIST... MEANWHILE, I AM HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING OUT OF BED OTHER THAN TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. I'VE LOSS MY APPETITE & 10 POUNDS IN THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS.

I can understand your concern. The symptoms like chronic fatigue, difficulty in getting up from bed, poor sleep, persistent tiredness, severe nausea with history of fibromyalgia should be given proper attention. Somatic symptoms like poor sleep, metallic taste in mouth, recurrent migraines etc are also worsening the fibromyalgia. As these symptoms are persistent I'd advise you to visit a psychiatrist for help.

For fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) medicines of SNRI group prove very useful. Medicines like Duloxetine, Venlafaxine etc are used commonly. These medicines not only reduce the pain but also help in other symptoms of fibromyalgia. Other medicines like Gabapentine, Pregabalin etc are also used along with SNRIs in CFS. These medicines help to reduce the pain and result in good sleep. This will help to restore the sleep and your tiredness will decrease. Please consult a psychiatrist for prescription of these medicines.
