Hi welcome to HCM.... Let me know you you are having platelet destruction in your blood so giant platelet seen ... So cause for platelet destruction could be infection esp bacteria in blood or dengue or malaria like cause .... Infectious mononucleosis also can be cause . in which hepatomegaly and swollen lymph nodes present ....Along with sore throat. .. You can have bronchitis or lung parenchyma infection that can lead to bacteremia and decrease platelet ... Chest x ray done for rule out respi infection.... Avoid alcohol drinking ...and avoid smoking .. For infection antibiotic can be given. .... Hope I have solved your concern... Consult physician with keeping this in mind .... Take care ....
