What Causes Fever With Swelling And Joints Pain In Fingers And Ankles?

Hi..I m 28 year old female.i had fever with joint pain few months back.. Still hav joint pain specially ankels n finger joints n swelling is also der.. Showed it to physician he said it s a viral arthritis.. Taking Protect D twice a day and for pain Dolo 650.but making no difference. Pain and swelling r same as it is... What should I do for make it better.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fever with swelling and joints pain in fingers and ankles . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query rheumatoid arthritis , gout , kidney faliure or viral infection . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner if your are not getting benefited with present drugs . Doctor may order blood test , urine test kidney function test and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir or allopurinol or may refer you to cardiologist or nephrologist . For now continue your medicine and elevate your legs while lying down .
