What Causes Fever, Leg Pain And Eye Redness With Watering?

I have a 7 year old daughter who started showing signs of the flu yesterday morning. I took her to the doctor and they told us she had the flu, but did not test her. Her temp has now reached 104 and her feet are cold as ice to the touch. She has been complaining about severe leg pain and is having trouble walking; she states that when she does, pain shoots from her feet up thru her legs. She also has one eye that is becoming bright red and watering alot. Could this actually be the flu? What really bothers me is the problem with her legs; could her feet not be getting enough circulation?
