What Causes Fever And Stomach Ache In A Child?

my 5 year old son has had a 101.4 temp for two days now with no other symptims. 3days ago while he was with his dad he complained of head and stomach ache. but that was the only time he showed symptoms. now he just feels really hot and has a temp/ i dont know whats wrong because he says hes fine.

Hello. Thank you for your question. I am sorry your son isn't well. Most illnesses of this type in pediatrics are viral and ultimately resolve on their own. I suspect, considering the headache and stomach ache have resolved, that this is the case. However, if the headache and/or stomach ache return, or the fever persists for another 2-3 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor.
