What Causes Fever And Headache?

Hi doctor, i ve veen experiencing an on and off fever for almost a week now, my body is so sore and there are certain areas where i feel like its an open wound, when touched it hurts (a burning sensation) added to this i have a severe headache. I had a check up 2 days ago but the doctors didnt find anything that may cause my fever or whatever feeling right now i dont have colds and cough
