What Causes Fever And Dry Coughing Persistently?

i have been having fever for last 25 days with dry coughing. 17 days back when my blood test was done my ESR count was 82mm 1st hour. i consulted with few doctors and they did test on typhoid , malaria and tuberculosis but every test was normal and no sign of those disease. i have been given some antibiotics by my doctor and 4 days back when my blood test was done ESR count was 60 mm 1st hour. Problem is i m having high fever which tends to be between 102 -104 degree. and i see no sign of cure for this fever and coughing. What might be the problem for the fever and coughing? what m i suppose to do now. Advance thanks for ur reply.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
As you are having high grade fever and coughing since last 25 days and your esr level is higher than normal then you should go for chest x ray to rule out pathology of lungs like bronchitis, tuberculosis, pnumonia .
So consult your family physician to do these tests and he will prescribe medicines accordingly.
