What Causes Fever And Breast Pain After Breastfeeding?

Hi doctor, I am exclusively breastfeeding my 2 months old baby .. I got sudden fever of 103.2. I had dolo 650 round the clock . Is it safe ? .. after four dose fever reduced ..having severe breast pain from first.. I cry badly for each and every feed. Had pain in right side arm pit once. Got my periods in a month after delivery. Is that because of breastfeeding ?

Thanks for the quwry. I understand your concern.
* Yes some hit to breast tissue or stagnation of milk in breast due to less feeding ... can cause inflammation &infection of breast tissue.. causing such pain.
Apart from medicine like dolo 600 mg for controlling pain you need Antubiotic &anti inflammatory pills .please consult your doctor.
Personal care-
- Avoid feeding from the side of pain Express milk after every feed.to avoid further stagnation.
-avoid massage.
-aTake medicines as per advise.
*period following delivery are delayed /irregular /abscent due to breast.feeding. (lactational amenorrhea).
