Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would keep a possibility of Recurrent Herpes Labialis. Herpes labialis can present/flare in response to certain factors/stressors like fever, strong sun, pre-mensturally, physical or mental stress etc.

They present as grouped fluid filled vesicles on or around the labial mucosa associated with sensation of tingling, burning, aching etc.

If I was your treating doctor I would have prescribed you an oral antiviral e.g acyclovir, famciclovir or valacyclovir for 5 days. Topical OTC antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin can be used twice daily

take care
regards
