What Causes Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat When Diagnosed With Thyroid Cyst?
I have a cyst on my thyroid that is being monitored by a doctor, it has grown to 8x11. the last few days I have felt as though I have something stuck in my throat, its just uncomfortable . I am not chocking. could this be due to the cyst ? is it something I should call the doctor about ?
Hello . Thanks for writing to HCM. I read and understand your question very well. I try my best to help you.
As you are diagnosed with thyroid cyst and you feel something stuck in your mouth , this may be either due to your cyst or due to throat infection , or URTI (upper respiratory track infection ) etc. I suggest you to consult a good ENT (ear nose throat ) surgeon for this.
I hope my advice will help you a lot. Thanks and Regards. Dr Vijay
