What Causes Fatigue After Eating?

43 year female w/ family history of diabetes, i too have diabetes i take glibizide and losartan and recently was given metformin, which i haven taken cus it made me feel weired. my sugar just now is 187 and i ate abt 6 hrs ago I had salad w/ ranch and a corn dog a lil soda w/ ice. but i have been really tired lately. also my menses just ended today. wuts the deal?

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. You diabetes control is not good and needs to be improved. Its possible your medication might be low. Due to reduced insulin acting on improving glucose into cells, you are having excessive fatigue.
2. Also get your complete hemogram to evaluate for anemia. Anemia can cause severe weakness. Post eating, blood circulation towards gut will increase, causing peripheral weakness, which is causing fatigue.
3. Improve your nutrition. Control blood sugar. Get a complete hemogram done.
