Hi welcome to HCM.
Smoking can contribute to deleterious effects on cardiovascular system. It can lead to increased heartbeat causing chest discomfort and palpitations.I advise you to have a chest x ray and ecg to document its effects on heart.Pulmonary function tests are needed to assess the lung function.I strongly recommend you to give up smoking under expert guidance since smoking can lead to irreversible loss of lung function.Consult your cardiologist for further help.
Thank you.
