What Causes Fast Heart Rate?

I feel like my heart is racing quite a bit and now my lips are tingling/numb. It just started racing this afternoon although I have noticed it fluttering a little due to too much synthroid which has been reduced. I have hypothyroidism which seems to fluctuate from time to time (sometimes a LOT), sometimes with my menstrual cycle. Should I be worried or am I just overreacting to stress?

hello,
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
your symptoms appear to be due to stress and anxiety. However as you have hypothyroidism you must regularly check thyroid functions tests done.Little over dose of thyroxine may produce similar symptoms. So chek S.T3,T4, and TSH and adjust dose of your medicines in consultation with your treating doctor,
My best wishes
