My dear friend, kindly evaluate the cardiac status of your beloved mom. SUch conditions may be simple as occurs in low glucose levels in blood and low blood pressure or may be in gaseous distention of abdomen. There are chances of central nervous system or brain involvement, but, other possibilities should be ruled out.
