What Causes Eye Pressure And Headache In Spite Of Taking Paracetamol?

hi, today I noticed pain when I put pressure on my inner eye, near the nose, just under the eye brow. It feels bruised to touch. I thought it was some form of headache/ pressure from stress, so took some paracetamol. The pain hasn t eased and it still feels bruised. I then started feeling under my eye socket with my eye closed and can feel a hard painful lump which I believe is the cause of the bruising like pain I m feeling around my nose and eyebrow. What could this be? I do wear contact lenses, but there is no pain IN my eye, nor any discharge or tearing. And I am just getting over a minor cold.

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from -Frontal Sinusitis with ? Dacryocystitis, accompanied with minor cold.
In Such a complicated and undiagnosed complicated case of yours,don't selfmedicate with Paracetamol,as it is already not helping you.
Get checked with consults and Second opinion from -Ent and Eye Surgeon Consults.
Get X-ray Para-nasal sinuses and CT skull to fix for any complications accompanied with it.Other causes of these complaints need to be ruled out by Consults with above suggested specialists.

Hope this would help you to plan further care of this complex illness of yours.
