What Causes Extreme Soreness In The Thumb?

Hi I have a sore on my right hand thumb which will never go away and when it gets cold it seems to form a light calass then it crakes bleeds and will go away after some weeks but it always comes back any time of the year , the way I got it was by playing paddleball I m righthanded and in the beginning it wasn t a problem but that area where I held the paddle I had to keep my hand dry so not to lose the paddle I would use a lot of powder to keep my hand dry. And in time I got a callas on my thumb and it always came back , can you help or tell me why it never heals.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, single joint arthritis condition could be the likely condition and it can be managed with Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, steroid can be used but it has to be given under medical supervision better to get done the x-ray of thumb orthopedic opinion may needed hope this information helps.
