I ve been struggling with painful sex with my boyfriend for a while now. I m a virgin, he is not. He has been very understanding about the whole situation but we are both getting pretty frustrated at this point. We have tried a few times to have sex but each time we ve had to stop after he put it in just once because it was so incredibly painful for me, a sharp kind of pain, it felt like something was ripping my vagina and stabbing me and burning it inside at the same time. I bled the first 2 times and the most recent time, instead of him being on top, I tried to be on top but only got his penis about halfway in before having to stop because it was just too painful to continue. The problem isn t with arousal, or not creating enough natural lubrication. I get VERY aroused and my body is definitely physically ready. And I really do want to do it mentally as well. However now it s just a challenge because even if he just puts the head of his penis in, that hurts me a lot. Is there anything I can do to diminish this pain in any way, or get past it, or make it bearable to lose my virginity so we can actually have sex? Any pain medication or medication at all, numbing cream, just SOMETHING. We have tried everything...please help. Thank you
