What Causes Extreme Pain During Periods?
I m having intense menstral pain. I am not pregnant. I ve had pain for a week now and today I started my cycle. Ive been having very painful cycles for the last few months but not as crippling as the one I started today. I have also had pain after intercourse for the last few weeks. The only thing that has helped with the pain today is laying in a tub of hot water.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the dysmenorrhea then it may last only few days and may not need any treatment it is the self limiting condition but in sever pain Tab Ibuprofen can be used, if the pain is lasting more than few days then it may be something else and not the dysmenorrhea hope this information helps.
