What Causes Extreme Pain During Intercourse?

I am 17 years old, and I have been with my boyfriend for over 18 months. About 6 months ago we had a big discussion about sex. We both said we were ready and would like to. I asked my mother to put me on the pill and my boyfriend bought condoms. However when the opportunity arised, it was extremely painful and from what I have heard it shouldn't hurt that much. The other problem is that no matter how hard we tried, or how hard my boyfriend pushed, it wouldn't actually go in. At first I thought maybe it justs hurts more for me, everyone is different, but once I ended in tears and is was trying to force it in, I started to get concerned. Do you know what this could be?

Dear many times female feels pain during first sexual experience. It most probably due to your hymen is intact and your vagina is not still not elastic and flexible. There might be less lubrication.Another thing condom latex may cause pain.
I can suggest examine your self with your little finger about your vaginal lumen. If it is not painful gradually insert index or middle finger. As lumen diameter increases it is less vulnerable to pain. But if your hymen is still intact you may going to have pain and may some bleeding. But don't worry it is for just now, it will go away.Ask your boyfriend to go slowly and gently. If problem persist even after 5-6 attempts, consult sexologist or gynecologist and make yourself counsel in detail about sex.
