What Causes Extreme Fatigue In A Teenager?

My thirteen year old son is always tired. He goes to bed without being told. He was hit by a motorcyle on June 13th this past year. He broke his tibia and fibia. His leg is healed and all is good. He just seems to be always tired could this be related to the accident of is it due to puberty.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
At this stage this type of emotional disturbances are common due to hormonal changes are going on.
But at the same time we should see for some deficiencies which can cause this problem.
1, Having Anemia,
2, having weight loss,
3, having some chronic health problem.
4, having some deficiency like multivitamin, B.complex, B12,
5, Less food intake due to lack of proper appetite.
Consult your doctor and get him physically examined.
Ok and take care.
