What Causes Extreme Fatigue, Abdominal Pain And Headache?

For the past 24 hours I ve had extreme fatigue, abdominal pain, a headache, back ache, chills and a loss of appetite. I don t have a fever at all, but if I stand up to fast or for too long I feel as though I m going to faint. I can t get comfortable because of this back pain, and earlier tonight I had shooting pains in my head so bad that they brought tears to my eyes. Overall I feel miserable, how long until I should see a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Joint and muscle pain, headache, fever and chills, loss of appetite are indicative of infection , most commonly viral.

It is possible that you may have the flu.

If you are feeling very unwell, it would be best to visit your doctor as soon as you can.
The main aspects of treatment rest, fluids, paracetamol and other meds based on symptoms (eg cough suppressants or nasal decongestants if needed).

In some cases of severe flu, additional treatment is needed.

I hope this helps
