General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
- Acute pain in hip.. groin & leg can be mostly due to muscle.. tendon spasm/sprain /strain &soft tissue surrounding hip joint.
Home care- Hot compress /muscle relaxant ointment application & over the counter pain medicine like Ibupprofen would relieve the pain
-Such pain can also follow lumber spinal /disc problems.
*Consult an orthodic surgeon after home care to exclude disc problem... for needful medicines/physiotherapy.
Thanks
