What Causes Excessive Weight Loss?

I am a 69 year old woman who holds is full-time job, does not take any medication, feels great, and do not have any complaints other than losing weight. I lost 8 pounds last month. I weight 148. I usually weigh 168 pounds. I was recently checked by the doctor for the following at my request: thyroid...looks good,,,,I do not have one-half of my thyroid. blood .....looks good---Blood ran last week Blood pressure..............Always good Urine.................Clear checked last month
