What Causes Excessive Sweating?

Hi, I have been experiencing sweating and there is a feeling of not wanting to get cold (like taking a shower, walking barefooted) but there is no fever. In my last blood test the RBC count was a bit less than normal (3.7 and normal in report was mentioned between 4.5 and 5.5) and Eosinophil had mildly increased. ESR level was also high (13mm/1hr). What could be the issue? The Doctor I showed said there is vitamin b12, iron and folic acid deficiency and I was suggested to take a mild medicine. But there is no improvement. Furthermore my Liver ALT level had risen mildly above normal (93, 21-72 normal) and Gall Bladder has shrunk with thickened walls but there are no stones or liver enlargement. (Thyroid is normal) Please help out.

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
Well, The amount of sweat considered normal is quite variable and depends on the demands of the body. Excessive sweating, also called hyperhidrosis, means that you sweat far more than your body needs you to sweat. For example, if you sweat while sitting calmly at your desk, that is excessive sweating.
In hyperhidrosis, the body's cooling mechanism is so overactive that it produces four or five times the amount of sweat that you need. However, sometimes if sweating happens during the night or there is associated weight loss then it may indicate some more serious issues such as lymohima or hormonal imbalances. In every case, if this persist you should see internist first to do some tests.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
