What Causes Excessive Sweating?

Hi, for about the last 2 months I have been having frequent episodes of sudden sweats so severe that my entire body is very wet then I will become very chilled , I become very nauseated. I have no fever with this. I have type 2 diabetes controlled with metformin that is within normal range with these epidodes. I also have hypertension and hypothyroidism. During the episodes blood pressure remains stable. I am 55 years old and already on hormone therapy . I have notice I may have 6-10 episodes a day more frequent at nite. I am also having fatigue with muscle soreness when I have several episodes, but I thought that that was probably related to the fact that I also have myositis.Any help would be appreciated

DEAR USER,
THANKS FOR CONSULTING WITH HCM

YOUR ON METFORMIN FOR DIABETES WITH CHILLS THAT CAN BE BECAUSE OF URINARY TRACT INFECTION. FEVER MAY BE ABSENT IN DIABETIC PATIENT

I SUGGEST YOU TO HAVE A URINE CHECK UP DONE.

SWEATING CAN BE BECAUSE OF HYPOGLYCEMIA OR ASSOCTD WITH UTI. KINDLY EXAMINE YOUR SUGAR LEVELS DURING THE EPISODE OF SWEATING.

AND THERE MAY BE REQUIREMENT OF ADJUSTMENT OF YOUR METFORMIN DOSAGE.

HOPE I ANSWERED YOUR QUERY. YOU CAN MESSAGE ME FOR ANY FURTHER CONCERNS
