What Causes Excessive Sweating, Nausea And Vomiting?

I was feeling perfectly fine today slept all morning than went to pick up my daughter from school was walking than I had sudden sweating alot of sweating and felt nauseous felt like I was going to pass out than followed by vomiting, all of this is sudden . the rest of day I felt super weak I still feel weak any ideas of what this can be ? Flu maybe ?

It is possible that the symptoms may be due to viral infection of the gastrointestinal tract.

Viral infections are the most common cause though bacterial infections can also occur.

Most common complication is dehydration but this is more likely in a child than adult.

Treatment involves : (A) holding off solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms.

When symptoms improve then you can restart using small amounts of dry solid food such as biscuits, toast

(B)fluid and electrolyte replacement with oral rehydration products or sport drinks such as gatorade
