What Causes Excessive Sweating, Cold Feeling And Vomiting Sensation?

My roommate complained of not feeling good last night... went to sleep last night at about 7pm...slept all night, all day today and still asleep... sweating but doesn t feel feverish...says her stomach feels sour and feels like she may vomit...I got off work and have been making her drink some cold water about every 30 minutes..says she feels cold all the time...can t take her temp because I keep making her drink the cold water..hasn t eaten all day..not sure how to help...pam.cru

You may want to consider using peppermint or ginger tea instead of the water to see if either of these would help to settle her stomach.

In addition, the use of medication like dramamine or peptobismol would also help to improve the nausea as well.

She should hold off all solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms.

In most cases, the symptoms are due to viral or bacterial infection of the gastrointestinal tract.
