What Causes Excessive Sweating And Mild Chest Pain?

on November 21,2014 I went to the Er because of extreme sweating and very cold with no temp All the procedures for heart attack were completed with only one enzyme slightly elevated. Last Sunday after a week trip to LA California after pulling a suitcase I experienced some pain only in my chest area I took an antacid and 325 mg aspirin and no other symptoms and it subsided in one hour. My CARDIOLOGIST has ordered an echo Stress Test. I am in good health with high blood pressure corrected by medication I am a white female 72 years old and ski watch my diet and exercise 5 to 6 times a week

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should definitely get done 2d echo first.
You should also ask cardiologist about stress test (trade mill test) to rule out stress induced cardiac problem, because of following reasons.
1. Your age (72). At this age heart diseases are common.
2. You are having hypertension. This is well known risk factor for heart diseases.
3. You are having recurrent chest pain on exertion. This again favours cardiac pathology.
So follow your cardiologist's advice and also ask for stress test for better diagnosis.
