ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
You should get an ENT consultation to get your nose checked.
There could be excessive production of mucus from the nose which is trickling down the throat and causing the problem.
Secondly there could be reflux disease that is reflux of food from stomach to food pipe like belching and heart burn and this occurs more in the night.
get examined and take anti reflux medicines for that .
For reflux take precautions like---
Keep head end of bed elevated.
Avoid alcohol, Smoking
Do brisk walking daily
Go for walk after dinner
Avoid spicy food
Avoid late night coffee
