General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Read and understood your concerns.
The commonest cause of producing a lot of mucus is an allergic problem or an infective problem.
I would advise her the following:
In spite of she being an Ayurvedic Doctor, she should take a consultation of an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination, endoscopy and CT scan of the sinuses.
This will give the diagnosis and a plan for proper treatment.
