Hello Doctor My kid is 4 months and 20 days old with exclusive breastfeeding.he has been passing loose stool since 3-4 weeks, 7-8 times a day. The stool is green in colour and is fussy and mucosy. At the beginning, we gave him syrp metronidazole for 2 days. Then he just passed stool for 2 times a day. But due to loss of appetite, we stopped the syrp metron.. As soon as we stopped metron , he begins to pass loose mucosy greenish stool frequently. Then we gave Tablet zinc 10 mg for 10 days but he isn t progressing. Today we did stool Routine examination which results 4-6 /hpf pus cells. What should we do to him for not passing green stool frequently? Looking forward for the reply please.
