What Causes Excessive Bleeding During Periods?
My period has been abnormal ive had it for about 11 days. I thought that I had finished but when me and my boyfriend had sex I started bleeding again. Why is that happening? I always get my period for 7 days and start heavy and finish light. This time when my period started it was light then progressed to heavy.

Irregular periods may be due to hormonal imbalance or pelvic inflammation.
I suggest you visit a gynecologist for clinical examination and get blood test like complete blood test and thyroid test done.Ultrasound scan on need basis.
