What Causes Excess Salivation And Breast Tenderness?

Hello, I am wondering if an increase in saliva is a sign of pregnancy? I ve had this for about 1 week. I have also seen both a decrease and an increase in the growth of my breasts and bottom. Around September I saw my body begin to slim down and the roundness of my backside go away, and with my breast they seemed to deflate. In just the past two weeks my breast and bottom have started feeling heavy and tender. Are these symptoms of pregnancy?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Increase in saliva production is not a sign of pregnancy. However, due to pregnancy, growth of breasts and gain in weight is noticed. But such symptoms might not always specify that you could be pregnant. Sometimes, breast enlargement and tenderness is experienced as part of pre-menstrual symptoms.
In case you are sexually active, kindly take a urine pregnancy test (UPT) and consult Gynaecologist with the report for physical examination for confirmation. Then, depending on the status, further things can be managed.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
