What Causes Episodes Of Loss Of Vision?
My 57 year old healthy husband complained of 2vision episodes today. The first was first thing in the am when he was coming back inside from getting the newspaper his whole right side of vision went black.Later while reading he couldn t see the the middle / center of field of vision.Sort of feels like a headache is coming but doesn t have one. No history of migraines. No medication. Walks 10000 steps/day. Low stress

it may be glaucoma. intraoculartention is to be measured. field tracing is to be donefundus examination to see cup disc ratio.if glaucoma is confirmed then tab diam ox 50mg can be taken. monitoring of iot to be done. further examination to know type of glaucoma like open angle or closed angle glaucoma. it can be acute congestive glaucoma which is an emergency. dark room test and water drinking test should be done.
