The echostress showed left side of heart enlarges on exertion . I get tired fast and sweat . Appointment is in two weeks with heart doctor . Restricted from any activity or exttreme heat . Hi welcome to HCM.
Stress testing of the heart is pretty accurate in detecting the latent ischemia .which gets revealed as ecg or symptomatic changes. The echo when done simultaneously can detect regional wall motion abnormalities.Reduced blood supply to heart can cause symptoms like chest pain, breathlessness and sweating.Maintenance of blood pressure and sugar within the normal limits can largely control the exercise induced changes.Drugs like antiplatelets are the mainstay of therapy.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
Thank you.
