What Causes Enlarged Lymph Nodes?

i have enlarged lymph nodes the biggest is 2.6 cm. My white blood count is high. My blood work shows alot of inflammation. The hospital did an ultrasound and wants to do a CT scan with contrast. I have alot of pain in my body all over. I don t have lupus or RA. I have an appt. on July 10. I had on Dr ask if I have an STD. No I don t!!!!

Where are the lymph nodes? How many in no? What is meant by -blood count is high? What is the ultra sound report? Before CT scan is done, an X-ray is required. If I was treating , I would have first done an FNAC of the Lymph node. When I get these reports I shall give you my plan of treatment.
