What Causes Enlarged Epididymis In The Testicle?

Hello, I am 19 years old and have found that my epididymis head (or at least thats what I think I am feeling) on my left testicle is larger then on my right testicle. The fact that it is painless even when squeezed and hard is worrying. Should I be worried?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i must convey to you, your hard painless swelling of the epididymis ,is probably an epididymal cyst. You should get it checked by an Urologist. Then you should get an ultrasound doppler scan of scrotum, which will confirm the diagnosis.
There's nothing to worry at all, as it's very common. If indicated, the cyst can be removed by a routine surgery. You can get back to normal routine in a few days.It doesn't affect sexual health in any way. You may send the reports for my expert opinion,as a direct question.
