What Causes Enlarged Breasts After Taking Postpill?

On the14th of December,I had sex in the night and I took postpill the following day in the evening of the 15th and took another postpill on the 16th.im yet to have the bleeding that occurs when a contraceptive is taken and my breast is getting bigger.could it be the side effect of the drug?

Hi,

Your symptoms could be due to hormonal imbalance. You used post pill two time with in short period. Post pill contain high progesterone and cause hormonal imbalance. It also cause earlier period, delay in period by 1-3 week and excessive bleeding can occur.

So I think it is most commonly due to side effect of pill.If period will delay by more than 2 weeks form normal expected period date then go for urine pregnancy test and or blood HCG test to confirm pregnancy. Do not use Post pill as regular contraception as it cause hormonal imbalance, menstrual irregularity, infertility issue. Use condom in future to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water,do regular exercise. Avoid alcohol, high caffeine and high slat.
