What Causes Enchondroma Lesion On Toe Along With Constant Pain?

I have had bruising feeling in my toe for a few years. I recently went hiking and a friend did an X-ray, the doctor looked and recommended I have an MRI, appeared to be a echondroma lesion. Is this common or something to worry about? I do not have constant pain, only when it s been aggravated, for exams tripping while hiking.

Enchondroma is common in the toes and fingers. Nothing to worry. If it causes pain, it can be removed by curettage and bone grafting.
