What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?

I had completed my 6 cycles of Chemo last nov 29 2014. prior to the last cycle my SGOT and SGPT is normal. Now I just had my lab test the other day my SGOT and SGPT were high. Prior to my lab test I suffered muscle and joints pain and I had fever as well. Does my health prior to my lab test affected my SGOT and SGPT?

SGPT and SGOT are liver enzyme test you have not mentioned here how much this is being gone up, more over clinical condition is matter of concern, if you do not have any clinical symptoms then this is just not to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
