As there are so many causes for increased transaminesia like a fatty liver of any causecan have such changes, if so then diet modification with less fat contain food and less oily food with regular physical activity may be helpfull in reducing the elevated enzymes.
As a base line you need to work up for the same cause like ultrasound abdomen to look for fatty liver,Hepatitis B and C MARKERS BECAUSE IN THIS CONDITION ALSO THERE WILL BE ELEVATION.
A repeat SGOT & SGPT levels after 3 months can done ,
Even after the above measures still there is persisting elevation of enzymes then we need to work up for autoimmune causes and wilsons disease.
hope this information help you
thank you
