What Causes Elevated Esr Level In Blood Tests?

Sir, I am 32 married a week and half before I had UTI my GP prescribed antibiotic for three days, now it seems all right. However, I had blood test on last friday and result indicate ESR is increased upto 40 but no infection in blood test. What could be reason of ESR increased? Meanwhile, I have pain in my back particularly in shoulders and feet.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
There are many causes of increased ESR. Tuberculosis, infection, inflammation, anemia, autoimmune disease, paraprotienemia, malignancies they all can leads to high esr. So you should go for investigation and then you should take treatment according to cause.
