What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Level?

Hi, I recently went to the ER (a week ago) because my blood pressure has been elevated for a couple weeks now, and I am concerned. I ended up leaving before my lab results came back, and I just got a few of them back. Some of the numbers seem concerning to me and I d like some advice. Mean Cell HGB Concentration - 31.5 (Low) Mean Platelet Volume - 11 FL (High) Neutrophils - 9 K (High) White Blood Count - 13.7 (High) Immature Granulocytes - 0.05% (High) Immature Platelet Fraction - 0% (Low) NRBCS # - I ve been feeling pretty shitty lately, so I m wondering if something is wrong.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi. I would like to help you in this regard. A few details are missing in the above query. like 1/ your age ,
2/ is there any symptoms or illness you are having now , other than high BP ,
3/ what was the recorded BP?
4/ Are you currently on any medication or any past illness?
5/ the report provided by you is incomplete , I would like to see the complete CBC report
6/ Is there any other investigation have you done with this report ? If yes , please try to shrae that too.
7/ You have mention low immature platelet fraction . Can you provide me here what is the total platelet count in your report?

These few answers I need to know before giving you a little detail to your illness.

Now , talking about your report as provided above . It shows that you have an acute infection ( increased neutrophils with wBC increased to 13.7). looking at rest parameters provided s/o acute bacterial infection . But for a conclusive diagnosis , I need few details . So I need a reply to the above stated questions to help you further .

Thank you.
I find this answer helpful
