What Causes Elevated BP Levels, Warm Body And Red Discoloration On Skin?
I took my blood pressure on the wrist and it is at 149/87..... Lately my body has been feeling hot from the inside out and my skin will turn reddish looking. I use to be on Lisinopril 5mg but have been off for over 5 months. I have been feeling tired also and just wondering if this is a sign of an infection or what could be happening

What Causes Elevated BP Levels, Warm Body And Red Discoloration On Skin?
Hi thanks for asking question. Your blood pressure is high. You could have simple viral infection. It can lead to fever and blood pressure can be raised because of it. Take your blood pressure in supine , resting position. Meanwhile treat your infection symptomatically like with analgesic for fever and pain if present. If congestive symptoms like runny nose, conjuctivitis, sore throat present , antihistaminic can be taken. Do your CBC. If neutrophilia -bacterial infection If lymphocytosis - viral infection If eosinohlilia- allergic infection... Treat your hypertension with lisinopril regularly. Take low salt diet. Reduce weight Yoga , meditation with regular exercise done for controlling it. Avoid stress. Wish you good health
