Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear Roy i can understand your concern
in my opinion most of this symptoms can be attributed to a clinical condition called diabetic neuropathy.
in this condition nerves tissue will decrease the threshold and starts reacting for very small stimulus which they are not supposed to do.
usually they start in lower limbs first and later spread to whole body.
to control this symptoms and progression diabetic neuropathy, vit B12 and alpha lipoic acid are approved medications by FDA.
i suggest you to meet a Diabetologist and undergo the assessment of your nerves.
relax you are going to be fine soon.
Hope I was able to help you.
If you have any further question feel free to write me back. I will be happy to help.
Take care.
Best Regards.
